If you know me you know that I am an affiliate of the Internet Lifestyle Network. I joined the Internet Lifestyle Network in December of 2013. When I joined ILN I didn’t have very much online marketing experience. After 6mos of being a member of ILN I still hadn’t learned to market online properly. The reason being because I failed to take advantage of the tons of training offered in the ILN back office. I know most people feel that training can be boring and yes it can be, but I learned the hard way. If you want to succeed with a company and they offer training on how to promote and use their product, USE THE TRAINING!!!
Once I decided to use the training and advice of fellow ILN members I started to notice that my number of signups grew. Weekly I am getting signups.
First things first. What is ILN??? The Internet Lifestyle Network is an affiliate marketing company who’s product is a blogging platform. The company also offers marketing training for those of us that are new to marketing or could use coaching (from beginner to advanced marketers) on how to market online.
The blogging platform is a pretty simple WordPress theme which takes around 5mins to complete the initial setup. Even if you have never setup a blog or used WordPress in the past you will be able to setup this simple ILN blog. Once setup is complete you will have a page with a video presentation about ILN, text about the founder of ILN, also you will have an opt-in form for interested parties to provide you with their name and email address.
Most people that I speak to about ILN quickly say to me that they do not blog. Well, guess what? Neither did I. Even at present I do not claim to be a blogger, but I’ve learned the Value of having a blog. The ILN blog serves two main purposes. The blog serves as a capture page allowing interested parties to provide you with their name and email address so that you can then email them and find out of their interest about ILN. (If you do not have an email auto responder i.e. Aweber, GetResponse, etc… it’s OK because ILN will do two things. They will send an email to you alerting you that you have received a new lead (this email will contain the interested parties details). They will also send auto response messages for you including your affiliate links so should the interested party decide to signup they will be under you. However, if you do not have your own auto responder or would like assistance choosing and setting one up let me know. I will assist you. Without having an auto responder if you want to communicate with your ILN generated leads you will need to use the email address that you have registered with ILN to communicate with your leads. Depending on how many leads you generate this can become very hard work, but if you are just starting out then it’s fine to use your current email address i.e. Gmail, Hotmail, etc…
The blog also serves as your space on the Internet to advertise ILN and any other affiliate opportunities you maybe promoting. This is your blog. You pay at minimal $37 a month for this blog. USE IT!!! If it only takes 5mins to setup and you are paying a monthly fee for this service then don’t waste your time. Setup the blog. I can walk you through it step by step and I will also teach you how to promote your ILN blog to some of the most active social networks online and start generating leads.
I have been with ILN since Dec. 2013. Initially I didn’t use my ILN blog. I believe I had it setup, but I didn’t offer the link to anyone. hahaha People would ask me for info about ILN and I would be stomped. Does that sound like any of you out there? Paying to promote a company and having the tools to promote the company made available to you, but you never think to use any of the tools? I know a very high percentage of newbie and older marketers do this. We waste money month after month. Well, here’s the funny thing. Once I started promoting my blog I started getting leads. Then I started getting signups. Too bad I only started using my blog in such a way in May 2014. Yup about 4 and 1/2 months wasted paying $37 a month which equals $166.50 or near to. Wasted money. Up until the point where I started using my blog I had a total of 4 ILN signups. After using my blog my signups jumped to a team of 12. The commissions per ILN signup is $20 plus $20 residual. So a team of 12 netted me a nice $240.
I’m not sure if you are with ILN or another affiliate, mlm, direct sales, or any venture if you have tools available to you be sure to use them.
One of the main things I really like about ILN is the Facebook community. It’s funny once you’ve been with ILN for awhile because when someone sends you a message you can tell that they are from ILN by their pitch. Yes I said it. PITCH!!! hahaha I think that pitch can mainly be afforded to the likes of F-Mac (Fraser McDonald). The guy is amazing and I’m sure a very high percentage of any that knows anything about ILN know a few names. Vincent Ortega Jr., Anji Long, Asia McKenzie, Fraser McDonald, Ben Martin, and possibly Mark Hoverson. Well, if you know anything about Fraser he is mainly responsible for ILN’s Facebook messaging strategy. Talk about going viral. hahaha I don’t do much messaging these days, but I did when I first joined ILN and give much thanks to F-Mac for the guidance.
I remember the ILN community having around 10k people in it when I joined back in Dec. 2013. It now has 42k. Talk about growth. The company is just over a year old and it’s already registering multiple monthly $5-10k earners.
I am still learning to promote, but I will say this. Three of the ILN members I mentioned above managed to be in the $5-10k monthly earnings bracket mainly using Facebook!!! Once you have joined ILN you will have access to a lot of the strategies that the top earners are using because inside of the ILN back office many of the top earners have their own trainings. You seriously do get the best of both worlds by joining a company like ILN simply because not only do you get a blog which you use for promoting, but you also get training on how to promote.
